Jaguar Supercharger & Turbo Repair

Expert supercharger and turbocharger repair for Jaguar V8, V6, and Ingenium engines – carried out in our Essex workshop.

We’ll confirm the engine type and provide a repair estimate.

What This Service Involves

Supercharger and turbocharger repair on Jaguar engines involves removing the unit, disassembling the snout or cartridge, replacing worn bearings, seals, and couplers, and reassembling with precision. We use genuine Eaton‑spec components for superchargers and follow factory procedures for turbocharger cartridge replacement. All work is performed in our Billericay workshop using specialist tooling.

Whether your Jaguar is fitted with an AJ133 or AJ126 supercharger, or an Ingenium diesel turbocharger, our technicians are trained on these platforms and carry out every repair to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Starting Price

Supercharger and turbocharger repair is quoted per job. For a fixed‑price estimate, use the registration lookup below or contact us directly. Pricing is confirmed after a thorough inspection, so there are no surprises. Pricing disclaimer.

Supercharger & Turbo Repair in Our Workshop

Our Process

1

Access & Removal

We clear the engine bay – remove airboxes, ducts, coolant hoses, and drive belts. For superchargers, the unit is freed from its guide pins; for turbos, we access the manifold and exhaust side.

2

Disassembly & Inspection

The supercharger snout is separated to expose the coupler and bearings. For turbos, we remove the cartridge and inspect the housing. All components are measured against factory tolerances.

3

Component Replacement

We replace the coupler (with a solid unit), bearings, seals, and supercharger oil. For turbos, a new cartridge/core is fitted along with fresh gaskets and copper washers.

4

Reassembly

All parts are cleaned, sealed with high‑grade silicone, and torqued to manufacturer specs. The supercharger oil is filled to the correct 150ml level.

5

Refitting & Testing

The repaired unit is reinstalled, coolant and oil lines are flushed, and the engine is road‑tested to ensure full boost and driveability.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a supercharger repair involve?

We remove the supercharger, disassemble the snout, replace the coupler, bearings, seals, and oil, then reassemble and refit the unit. The entire process is carried out to factory specifications using specialist tools.

Do you repair both superchargers and turbochargers?

Yes. We handle Eaton superchargers on AJ133 and AJ126 engines, as well as turbochargers on Ingenium diesel and earlier ZSD/Ford‑sourced units. Each repair follows the specific procedures for that unit.

How long does a supercharger or turbo repair take?

Typical turnaround is 3‑5 working days, depending on parts availability. We’ll give you a clear timeline during the quotation stage.

Will you replace the supercharger oil?

Yes. We drain and refill with Eaton‑spec oil (150ml) as part of the repair. This is essential for long‑term performance.

Do I need to book an inspection?

We recommend an initial inspection so we can assess the exact condition of your supercharger or turbo. You can request a quote to start the process.
